I am really looking forward to this year’s Internet Librarian International in October!
Making is one of the themes. I am looking forward to speak in two tracks at the conference and to be inspired by all the awesome speakers at the conference.
Mostly I am looking forward to host a workshop Monday together with three international colleagues that I admire very much: Åke Nygren from Sweden, Annemarie Naylor from England and Jeroen de Boer from the Netherlands.
We will talk about making in libraries, making services in libraries and making as a community builder through and around local libraries. The workshop will tell about four different approaches to making in libraries and then we will have hands on – we will create content to makerboxes, develop good ideas for making services or build awesome constructions (the sky is the limit).
If you can’t wait till October…
